Canon; Journey into Mystery/The Mighty Thor (Marvel Comics) http://marvel.wikia.com/Loki_Laufeyson_(Earth-616)#Trickster_Reborn
Canon Point; Pre-Manchester Gods arc (around issue 638ish)
Age; About 13-15
House; Loki
Power; Telekinesis
Personality; If you were to ask any Asgardian (save perhaps, for Thor) they would tell you that Loki is nothing more than a traitor who led Asgard to its fall and got the death he deserved for it. They would also tell you that Loki was far better off being left dead, and that Thor must have been mad to bring the trickster back to life, even in his supposedly harmless child form.
Loki would argue that he quite likes being alive and that in his time back he hasn’t done (much) harm at all.
Despite everything he was before he fell with Asgard Loki is now truly not much more than a child. Aside from being a god he has none of the magic his older self once wielded and if Ikol is to be believed he doesn’t even have the same charm with women. He’s a mere child thrown into a world where everyone already hates him and even those that like him know far better than to ever trust him. A lesser person would let this drive them into deep depression but Loki is instead determined to prove the whole of the world wrong. Once he did everything in his power to crush Asgard and all it stood for, now he uses his abilities behind the scenes to save the very people who condemn him daily. While he wields no magic he is still Loki, and is still skilled enough to create great schemes and gather allies through bargains he never truly intends to fulfill. He expects no thanks for any of this, and honestly even if he did he wouldn’t get any anyway. He only hopes to fix his mistakes and possibly earn a better reputation for it, though he isn’t above using his bad reputation to get what he needs from others.
Young Loki likes technology and considers himself very up to date on the latest trends (whether he actually is or not is up for debate). He is never without his Starkphone and loves to browse the internet, though he finds the Midgardians who dwell there less than kind. He is far less haughty than his older self as well, he holds no prejudice toward mortals and would gladly become friends with someone without considering if they’d be useful to him later on.
Despite the hatred and anger he faces from most of those he interacts with, Loki does have friends. He has proclaimed Hela’s handmaiden Leah as his “B.F.F”. Her calm and often cold demeanor is a great foil to Loki’s more lively personality. While most see Loki as something incredibly evil at best Leah sees a dumb boy who is much more of an annoyance than a danger. This is why she is perhaps the person Loki can be most comfortable around. At least with her the insults don’t come from some sentiment caused by a person who Loki hasn’t even become yet.
His brother Thor is one of the most important people in all the realms to him, and Loki would risk anything to help him. Thor’s opinion is of utmost importance to Loki, in a moment when Thor’s anger gets the best of him and he attacks Loki (both physically and verbally) the boy is driven to tears by the idea that his beloved brother may truly be no better than the other Asgardians. After Loki indirectly causes the death of Thor in order to save all of Asgard Loki is haunted by a cadaver Thor in his nightmares. Loki’s fears are rampant in these nightmares, and that Thor would be the vessel to bring them about is significant. He tries to deny what both the false Thor and the narration say about him, but it implies he does fear he’s destined to be evil and that he really is nothing more than a liar and a villain despite his efforts to be otherwise.
Perhaps the strangest of all the relationships he has is the one Loki has with his older self. Early on in the series he finds a spectral version of his old self that was left to guide him somewhat. Loki hears it out but then dismisses it and makes Ikol, his other half. Ikol is Loki’s elder self contained in the body of a magpie, offering Loki knowledge and advice only when he asks for it. While Loki desires to be his own person, he still values the wisdom of others (especially those that were once him). And though he is very different from his old self he still has quite an affinity for getting into trouble and pushing people’s buttons.
